About

Research interests:

*Paleobiology of Cenozoic mammals from North America.
*Vertebrate Paleoichnology.

I am interested in the evolution of the Neotropical mammalian communities from southern North America (central to southern Mexico) through the Cenozoic and the impact that  climatic change and the complex geomorphology of southern Mexico had on the structure of communities through geologic time.

My current research focuses in studying species diversity and paleoecology of Pleistocene and Eocene mammals from Oaxaca and to compare the resulting patterns with other well-studied localities from Mexico and America.
